LCD Soundsystem - I can Change If you're waiting for the new LCD Soundsystem album, This Is Happening, due for release on May 18th through DFA Records, you've probably already heard Drunk Girls, if your heart didn't beat a little faster at that, listen above, and after you've done that, feel free to palpitate.
Sound of Silver and many a LCD Soundsystem live show closer, New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down, gets a very simple but highly effective video treatment from director Simon Owens.
there comes a time, maybe once or twice a year, when i run out of music. it's a hard time; frustrating and fruitless, sometimes i fear it will never pass... but it does. Hurrah!!
god bless LCD soundsystem, god bless them all. if you haven't heard sounds of silver yet, you really should, even if it's just for 'all my friends' (above) and 'someone great'. and while you're at it, also check out 'Yr city's a sucker' on the DFA records website, just click on radio, and flick forward, or just click radio and listen to them all. once more, Hurrah!
