There has been alot of good albums out this year but there are a few I'm still waiting on. Most will probably be edging in on 2010 for a release date (LCD Soundsystem, New Young Pony Club) but there is some brightness in our near futures. Tegan and Sara's follow up to 2007's The Con, Sainthood is due for release on the 27th of October and even nearer than that, first single Hell has just been released on iTunes.

And if you're still hankering for more they feature on a track on Tiesto's new album Kaleidoscope, released today, called Feel it in my bones. Tiesto's a bit too trance nation-y for me personally but it's a pretty nifty song - Kaleidoscope also features Jonsi Birgisson of Sigur Ros and Emily Haines... worth checking out for those names alone.
