Exciting things are afoot, of which there are a number, but one of the most pertinent.... the new Bonobo album is on the way!!! And so to celebrate, the very first Bonobo song I ever heard (above) which is still one of my all time favourites, and the first song of his new record, Black Sands (below), one of my current favourites.
Black Sands is released on the 29th of this month, until then, I recommend you go back and listen to the most excellent Animal Magic all over again.
In a week of all round spectacular music related business, Broken Social Scene has decided on a name for their new album. Forgiveness Rock Record will be the follow up to 2005's most excellent self titled album (not including band members Kevin Drew's Spirit If, and Brendan Canning's Something For All of Us, both released in the in between). In celebration of this they've decided to give a new song away for free... Follow this link for a free download of World Sick. Forgiveness Rock Record will be released on 4th May, until then...
